Jose W. Jordan (Wally), Waste-Tech's President, has over 23 years experience dedicated to the study and evaluation of materials and solid waste management practices, systems and processes. This experience includes the study of supplies selection, materials management, and solid waste handling for over 135 hospitals in New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Houston, and other cities. Mr. Jordan manages or takes an active role in all Waste-Tech projects and is the principal representative of the firm with clients and the public. He has long been a proponent of an integrated approach to materials/waste management, encompassing product selection, waste minimization, recycling, and traditional and emerging technologies as a means of addressing environmental and operational problems in a cost-effective manner.
Dexter W. Dugan, Project Manager, has over 19 years experience in hospital operations, with a special focus on waste and materials management. Mr. Dugan has broad administrative and programmatic experience in the areas of contract management, occupational health and environmental safety and waste management. This experience includes the performance of contract administration duties for 172 GNYHAS Member Facilities and serving as Project Coordinator for the GNYHAS Medical Waste Materials Recovery Project (MED-MRF). During his six years with the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation, he had signature authority for all contracts totaling over $400 million dollars annually, supervised the development of the New York City Medical Waste Management Plan and served as consultant to senior management staff in all areas of occupational health and environmental safety. Mr. Dugan has implemented site-specific Medical Waste Management Plans for 16 New York City hospitals. He currently manages the implementation of all Shared Savings waste management programs for Waste-Tech in the New York City area.
Ellen Waller, Field Manager, has over 10 years experience in space utilization, vertical and horizontal transportation surveys and medical waste characterization. This experience includes on-site surveys and data collection for over 135 hospitals and medical waste treatment facilities, waste characterization and space surveys for 16 Health and Hospital Corporation Facilities, vertical and horizontal transportation surveys for the New York Hospital/Cornell University Modernization Project, and field research on disposable and reusable health care products for Procter and Gamble.
Jean Ann McGrane, Esq., Legal and Regulatory Counsel, has over 12 years experience in the resolution of controversial environmental issues. She has developed solutions which balance project constraints, community concerns and regulatory requirements. Jean's approach relies on identifying the right combination of technical, legal, analytical and dispute resolution skills to develop timely cost-effective solutions.
